Why Stiqqo exists

We've experienced it ourselves. Product training, compliance, sales training — after a few weeks most of it was gone again. Not because the training was bad. But because the day-to-day grind is stronger than memory.

What surprised us: this isn't a new problem. For more than a hundred years we've known how human memory works — and yet almost nothing has changed in the training world. In the Netherlands, €4.5 billion is spent on training every year. Half of that knowledge is known to disappear before it can do its job. That could be better. That had to be better.

Stiqqo was built by people who know the training world from the inside. With more than ten years of experience in EdTech and an education team with over 25 years of practical experience, we know what works — and what doesn't. We didn't invent the science. But we're the first to apply it consistently in practice, in a way that fits ordinary people in an ordinary work week. Behaviour doesn't change through attendance. Knowledge doesn't stick on its own. But with the right approach, at the right moment, it does. That's what Stiqqo stands for.
